Met with the Architect today out on the lot. Brought a can of OFF with - as the grass is a almost waist high, and the ticks are quite feisty. It was great standing out in the middle of our land today. If you squint your eyes and click your heels three times, you can start to see the house. It's still a little blurry right now, but it's getting clearer and clearer.
We showed him our rough drafts on graph paper. We got an A+ on our homework! It's shouldn't take much to tweak the plans together and have them turned into real live blueprints. Turn time will be about 2 to 3 weeks. Maybe we'll ask for an extra set - suitable for framing!
Big task for next week.... find out if the septic can be on the lower level of the property, or if it must be on the upper. Hoping we can use the perc test results from 2005 to find out. Ahh, the joys of rural living.
